Transformers: Age of Extinction and Underworld British actress, Sophia Myles, has posted on her Twitter that she has lost her father, Peter Myles, to the coronavirus. Peter Myles was diagnosed with COVID-19 on the 14 of March. Peter had other health issues that he was battling with. Throughout his battle with the virus, Sophia kept people informed on her Twitter page.
In the tweet,
Sophia said, “RIP Peter Myles. My dear Dad died only a few hours ago. It was the Corona Virus that finally took him.”
Earlier, she had posted an image of herself holding Peter’s hand as he lay in hospital. In another Twitter post, Sophia posted in a video clip that her father had been locked up in a hospital ward, together with other people who had the virus and said that they were all dying. She went on to encourage people to take the virus seriously.
Earlier in august of 2018, Myles announced that Peter was battling Parkinson’s Disease. So far, over 5,700 cases have been reported in the UK and of those, 282 people have died. Myles, who announced her father was battling Parkinson’s Disease in August 2018, said a CBS News crew followed her when she visited her father on Monday. The footage will be shown on Monday, Myles said.
